All #gyms were closed due to the #pandemic and in order to keep my #fitnessjourney streak alive I had to do something. So, I decided to try to run a #5k. Which I did, then I did it again and again and every day afterward, through #verrado, for a week. On my final run, right before the gyms opened back up, I ran to Main Street. As I was huffing and puffing along, I reached the fountain and saw this picture-perfect shot. I was trying to catch my breath. The photographer in me wouldn’t let it go. It was a glorious shot, so, whipped out the iPhone and found the perfect angle. Yes, this is an iPhone 📱 shot. 😍😯🤯
I did eventually return to the gym when allowed but never did I ever think I could or would, voluntarily run a 5K, let alone 7 in a row. This definitely showed me something interesting or at least help give some new perspective to things. I truly believe that we're far more capable than we think we are and It’s you, and you alone who puts limits on yourself, nobody else. Be brave, be courageous.
